Can GentleLase Remove my Ingrown Hairs?

Of course! There have been numerous studies that show our laser hair removal as the best method of dealing with ingrown hairs caused by shaving. Ingrown hairs happen when the hair is cut so short that it curls up underneath the skin. Ingrown hairs can raise the skin, appearing as little bumps or pimples. If not treated they could lead to discoloration of the skin or even worse, scaring. Ingrown hairs can also occur with waxing. With GentleLase you can have smooth skin.

Will I Feel Pain?

The best thing about GentleLase is that it is designed with the patients comfort in mind. The device sprays a short burst of cryogen right before the laser pulse, you may feel a mild stinging sensation but it's not painful. The cryogen is used to cool the layers of epidermis making the laser treatment as painless as possible. Any discomfort resolves in several seconds and is minimized by Candela's unique DCD cooling. For some patients, a topical anesthetic may be used prior to treatment.
